The SF Association

ABOUT THE SF ASSOCIATION

SASFA is a member’s organization for soldiers that serve or have served permanently in one of the South African Special Forces Units. This service can be as an Operator or as Support Staff. The South African Special Forces Association is a registered Non-Profit Organization. As a voluntary association, we comply with all the rules, principles and requirements of a voluntary association of persons as prescribed by the Constitution of the R.S.A.

Our objectives and purpose are defined in our constitution. These objectives are reached by a simple process that COMMUNICATES CONNECTS CARES. Wherever there are more than 15 or more members we establish a Fort. Each Fort gets a Chairman and Vice chairman. Members are assigned to the Forts who will then ensure they are informed regarding our activities and events. Between them they will support other members or their spouses in times of need. In this way every member or old colleague has a support system that works actively.

Serving in the Special Forces of South Africa has always been an achievement and an honour. It is something that lasts a lifetime. As soldiers we learn the value of teamwork and making sure that whoever goes in comes out together. We treasure this experience.

We are all soldiers and have a passion for excellence. We are brothers in arms no matter in which unit or when we served – we are united as brothers in arms. We are soldiers. To get more detail – click here.
